These are Shirt dress designs of which two in the middle, I made a few months back, inspired by tree branches. The two on the sides I recently designed and was inspired by my african culture, which is Zulu. I've been working on these designs with no intention to do anything with them, but why waste these patterns right... So recently I have been loving white crisp shirts (And yes even though I just own one I love them). So I decided to go that route in combination with a dress look. Im pretty happy how it all came out.

If there’s one amazing woman I look up too, It’s this lady here (Ofcourse besides my mother, grandmother, Maya Angelo and Oprah) hehe. She creates amazingly elegant garments and also designs her own patterns. A collection should look like I family she says; Like brothers and sisters. That’s something I pretty much agree with. Watch this video, I appreciate her use of colour and texture on her garments. One of the material for her 2015 summer/spring range is a rather smart light weight yet efficient material.

So Im busy with fashion illustration techniques, and Im enjoying myself. This guys name is Yum Chum Hum.

  

Illustratons

Started doing fashion illustrations with ink and it's not as quick as I thought it would be to get the swing of things or even realize your prefered style and technique. Im feeling confidant about it tho, things take time.

Insperation

I've been using water colour paints for my fashion illustrations of late. But, I must admit, it always seems to turn out better than I had planned or worse than I had planned. Its a love and hate relationship with paints. This video is my latest insperation, as I plan to use Photoshop more in the simple things I do.
